Author: With the upcoming holidays, we thought we’d highlight a few recent posts about wine that we wanted to make sure you saw:
Here’s “Drink a wine before its time” from Chris Pirillo. It’s about a wine aerator that would fit nicely in someone’s holiday stocking (I’ve got one myself and I love it).
Then there’s the Seattle Wine Blog with “Best holiday wine gifts for under twenty bucks,” the headline of which pretty much sums up what it’s about.
And, lastly, if you’re dining out over the holidays, be sure to read “Ask the bartender: The price of whine,” in which Maggie Savarino explains why that bottle of vino costs as much as it does at your local restaurant.

Several interesting food- and drink-related items have caught my attention. Dunno, maybe I’m just hungry. Here they are in no particular order:
Happy hour at Aster Coffee Lounge now includes Wii Bowling!. It’s not exactly a replacement for Ballard’s Sunset Bowl, but it’s probably a safe bet the coffee is of better quality.
If you like wine, read about “La Tour Des Favorites En Woodinville.” Blogger Gene Stein is offering you a chance to go along on the next jaunt.
And here’s info about what sounds like a yummy new breakfast and lunch spot along Elliott Avenue for all you folks at F5, Classmates.com and Clear Channel.
